Has scored a screamer just like Cristante did. Hopefully we keep Locatelli as a result instead of selling him.

he did very well as CM today

locatelli has already done more than cristante did at milan

Very true, plus Cristante has done nothing anywhere else including so far, Pescara.

But like everyone else, I'm so happy for this kid. I hope Locatelli can go on from here.

Locatelli is a much more complete player than Cristante was at 18.

People never gave Locatelli as much attention as Cristante (because they were afraid he'd end up being another fail) but people should have noticed the difference in positioning when he played against Sampdoria.

Yes he committed quite a couple fouls but he effectively covered Romagnoli and Calabria. Fast forward to Sassuolo and you can see that he not only defends well now but is also able to distribute the ball effectively.

Montella deserves a lot of praise for being able to incorporate Locatelli into the team and allowed him to grow game after game without much pressure.
